Our teachers exceed the minimum standards set by childcare licensing standards, all are experienced in early childhood education and stay current on new teaching techniques and information by participating in a minimum of 24-30 hours of continuing education each year. All staff members are first aid and CPR certified and go through background checks as outlined by Texas Department of Family & Protective Services.
MEG RICHARDSON - Director
Meg joined the Greenland Hills staff in 2011 and is the founding director of the preschool. Meg brings with her over 15 years of experience in Christian education, early childhood education, & program development. She has directed children, youth, adult, and childcare ministries and has previously served in Dallas area non-profits and churches. She has also implemented many local community ministries and directed music/arts camps. On a regional level, for many years Meg served as director and was on the administrative/design team for children and youth camps and retreats for Red River Presbytery and has served on the planning committee for ministry leadership conferences for Grace Presbytery. Meg studied health science education at the University of Arkansas and also holds a childcare administrators credential, a childcare director license, and a certification in nonprofit management.

CATHLIN HARRIS - teacher, prek ii
Cathlin Harris has almost a decade of teaching experience and a passion for education. Cathlin taught elementary school for many years in Welasco ISD & Richardson ISD before making the switch to preschool. She most recently taught in the Mother's Day Out program at Dallas Bible Church. She studied elementary education at Sterling College and also holds a teacher certification. Cathlin is a dedicated teacher who believes in reaching each child's learning needs and inspiring social and academic development.
DANIELLE PERRY - asst. teacher, sophomore & prek i
Dani is new to the teaching field and is excited to bring her love of children and desire to help them explore and learn to GHP. She has a background in hospitality, sales and office work and has also served as a nanny and assistant teacher for preschool camps in the Lake Highlands area. She studied at Oklahoma State University & Northern Oklahoma College.
KELLIE LANG - teacher, prek ii
Kellie Lang brings to us a passion for early childhood education and a specific love for teaching Spanish and working with ESL children & families. She is fluent in Spanish and has previously taught at Lumin East Dallas Community School and has been the Spanish teacher at GHP. She also has a background in administrative assistance. Kellie studied Sociology & Women's Studies at Texas Women's University.
EMMA PHILLIPS - asst. teacher, sophomore & prek i
Emma joins our teaching team with 9 years experience working with children. She believes in using creativity to inspire children and instill in them a love for learning. She has previously served as a nanny for several families over the years and has also worked as a special education aide and taught art in Venus ISD. Emma studied art at the University of North Texas & Navarro College.

Monica Combs loves kids and joins our team ready for fun and activities. She has previously worked as a model, is fluent in German & Spanish and is a big crafter. Monica also is a former GHP mom and preschool committee member. Her daughter was a student here before she joined the teaching team.
ANDREA MIMS - spanish teacher & prek ii floater
Andrea Mims joined our team in 2017. She studied Liberal Arts and majored in Spanish and minored in Sociology at the University of Texas, Arlington. Andrea is beginning her studies in Early Childhood Intervention soon and is excited to join the teaching team at GHP. She also has spent time studying in Spain, teaches Sunday School, and travels on mission trips to serve in other parts of the country and world.
