Sybil MacBeth, author of Praying in Color, asks, “Does prayer have to be a totally intense and serious activity? Can a spiritual practice be both prayer and play? Using black markers and crayons or colored pencils, you will be introduced to a new way of praying using the right side of your brain. No drawing experience needed—just bring yourself ready to pray and play in color. Supplies needed: fine black felt tip marker, crayons or colored pencils, blank notebook or journal

Monday: Wordplay/Express Yourself, led by Michelle Strosecu

Have you ever tried writing a poem? As children, we were mainly taught rhyming poetry, but this session introduces three different ways to put your thoughts on paper.  If you are interested in journaling, enjoy reading, or just want to try something fun and new, this is for you. Supplies needed: pencil or pen of choice and either a lined notebook or blank journal.
